Antimatter Games is looking for an awesome, enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team to support our ’83 and IGI: Origins games in development and beyond. This is a permanent role, based in our Cornwall office, though working from home until we all return post-COVID. We offer stability and excellent long-term prospects working in a beautiful part of the UK.

 

As the point person for engagement with our players past, present and future, you will interact with our community across multiple channels, and ensure that the feedback loop is effective and well maintained between our game teams and the people who are play the games we make.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • You will monitor and interact with the community on a variety of social channels, acting as a voice for the studio on day to day matters, and work with relevant partners in group studios and with our parent company as required on Community related matters.
  • You will gather, collate, and report on sentiment, common themes of interest and provide regular reports with comprehensive qualitative and quantitative content information.
  • Participate in video engagement activities for studio and titles.
  • You will create and propose engagement calendars and campaign ideas to keep players satisfied and informed on an ongoing basis, creating relevant content to support these ideas.
  • You will work with others to create engaging communications to excite our existing players, as well as attracting new players and ensuring both groups are kept informed.
  • You will build community help features as required, such as FAQs
  • You will work with the Executive Producer and all game departments to ensure you have an excellent understanding of the games, how they are being developed and what the vision for the product is.
  • You will assist Production and the Studio management in the coordination of relevant community and publishing matters.
  • You may need to attend trade shows as part of your duties.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • A minimum of two years Community Management experience on a published title on either PC and or console.
  • Great experience on social and video media channels
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • A calm approach and outlook to solving problems, particularly should any sudden changes or urgent matters arise.
  • A positive, energetic personality with a can-do mindset
  • You will interact with influencers or partners on community related matters.
  • You will have strong team working skills
  • You will be a strong proactive communicator

 

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

 

  • Streaming or influencer background
  • FPS aficionado
  • Familiarity with military hardware, or a willingness to learn!
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • An understanding of JIRA or equivalent
